I've missed heavy lifting... it was a good day to start again!!!

Met Daniel at the 'Box' at 5:30 and started back with our Starting Strength training... It felt really good to be back at it... I've missed it so much! I love lifting heavy, I always have even when I was going to the gym... Felt pretty strong even though we haven't done it in a while and I was sick this past week...

I did:

Back Squat: 4 warm up sets then, 3 work sets of 165#
Shoulder Press: 4 warm up sets then, 3 work sets of 65#
Power Cleans: 4 warm up sets then, 5 work sets of 85#

So far to eat, I've had:

B: Builder Bar
L: Soy protein shake
S: Met RX snack bar

No fun being sick...

I haven't blogged in some time... that is all about to change!

I woke up in the middle the night Thursday with a case of food poisoning... it was not pleasant at all... I was up pretty much all night with it. I could barely move my head off the pillow the whole next day with major stomach cramps and a horrible headache!!! I couldn't really eat anything. Conor brought me soup, crackers and ginger ale, so sweet of him! I couldn't really eat a whole lot of it cause my stomach started to cramp again. I basically slept all day... I ate jello for dinner and drank some gatorade... Woke up this morning with cramps still, head wasn't hurting as bad but I did manage to drink a soy protein shake which is sitting okay so far... Just gonna take an easy today and hope that the cramping goes away... I haven't worked out in 2 days which I think is a record for me, haha... I think my body needs the rest even though is was induced by a sickness... If all goes well, I'll be back at it tomorrow... hopefully!
